Ghagras are back

Traditional and contemporary Indian fashions collide with the return of the Ghagra, a long skirt that is pleated from the waist, making it loose and comfortable. It’s tied at the waist with drawstrings, and a “choli” or short blouse is worn for a top. The outfit can be complemented with a “dupatta,” a thin shawl that be decoratively embroidered for special occasions, and this season’s brides are showing off ghagras with modern silhouettes and tones, showcasing zari woven designs highlighted with zardosi for a traditional blend.

I had ordered 2 ghagras for the first time. I needed a lot of courage to put them on. But when I did I looked awesome. I received so many compliments.
