Bank of Boroda has signed Rahul Dravid for a multi-year contract as their brand ambassador, noting a shift from using cricket to promote products to using actual cricketers. Bank of Boroda CMD Anil Khandelwal said the company chose the Indian Vice-Captain because he is “Mr. Dependable,” which is the image that Bank of Boroda is trying to convey for themselves. Dravid said he was happy to lend his image to the bank, stating that in today’s market it is hard for each brand to distinguish itself.
