Reports Say Most Fashion Designers, Models Do Drugs
With the recent arrest of fashion guru Prasad Bidappa for marijuana possession in Dubai, many prominent members of the Indian fashion industry are anonymously admitting that drug use is “an integral part” of the business, making it a high-powered, glamorous lifestyle. Many believe that creativity stems from drug use, and those within the industry don’t seem to hide their habits from each other. Though the practice seems to be commonplace to many industry professionals, some designers like Kiran Uttam Ghosh says there are many who “just concentrate on their work, run their households, and stay as far away from drugs as anybody else.”
