India Ranks in Time’s “Best of Asia”
India finds itself at the top of a number of categories in Time Magazine’s “Best of Asia” issue, a poll compiled by Time’s international correspondents in Asian cities. The “virtuoso displays of talent” and “mass outpourings of national pride” made India vs. Pakistan cricket matches the “Best Sporting Event,” while Film City, Mumbai took “The Best Place to Dream of Stardom.” Other winners included Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh for “Best Literary Excursion,” where you can “bump into a walking library of talent.”
