Director JP Dutta has chosen Aishwarya Rai to play Rajmata Gayatri Devi, the Maharani of Jaipur, for his upcoming film. Ash said she was “thrilled” to play the Maharani in the film, which will be adapted from her autobiography “A Princess Remembers.” Fans say it’s appropriate for “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World” (or 9th most beautiful, depending on who you ask) to play the legendary royal lady, who received similar honors for her beauty from Vogue magazine.
