The UK is about to be invaded by a new line of Barbie dolls based on the looks and costumes of actress Aishwarya Rai. The dolls, which feature intricate detail including silks, embroidery, and jewelry, were imported to the UK by Sair Mir of Mir Media. Indian Barbies will soon feature styles from all over the Indian subcontinent, including Punjab, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, and there’s even an Indian Diva collection decked out in the latest kurtas.
