New Book Profiles 21 Indian Businesswomen

A new book called The Voyage to Excellence profiles the personal and professional lives of 21 Indian businesswomen who, as the foreward notes, “overcame significant odds, social or economic, to achieve success in her business.” The Voyage to Excellence, penned by two Chennai college students named Nischinta Amarnath and Debashish Ghosh, features interviews by some of today’s most successful Indian businesswomen including Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw of Biocon and Naina Lal Kidwai of HSBC. Each interviewee, picked with the intention of covering all industry sectors in India, provides a look into the characteristics of each of these women that made them the best in their fields.
