More bad news for Salman Khan: Maharashta deputy chief minister R.R. Patil says phone calls made to gangster Abu Salem in 2001 have been traced to Salman Khan. The trace comes as a result of police tapping Khan’s phone between August and October of 2001 to determine his underworld links. Police looked to Khan for information in the shady financing for the 2001 film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, but have declined to mention what happens next. The authenticity of the tapes is still being determined.
