Sourav Ganguly Renamed Captain
The BCCI renamed Sourav Ganguly as the captain of India’s cricket team today, replacing Rahul Dravid who led the team to a loss during the recent tri-series with Sri Lanka. Ganguly, who recently completed 10,000 runs, was named by cricket board secretary SK Nair, who also mentioned that the team for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour would be picked tomorrow. The Zimbabwe tour will feature a limited-overs tri-series with New Zealand, as well as two Test matches against Zimbabwe.
