New Zealand Beats India in Second Triangular Series Match

New Zealand’s Shane Bond’s excellent bowling gave his team a win over India in the second match of the triangular series today, with a final score of 215 to 164 in 37.2 overs. Bond had a career-best at bowling, going six for 19, which was enough to topple notable performances by JP Yadav, who scored 69 runs, and Ifran Pathan, who reached 50 runs for the first time in his career. The two accounted for twice as many runs as the rest of the team. India will face Zimbabwe in the third match of the tournament in Harare, on Monday.
