Dhoni and Singh were the one-two punch that eliminated Sri Lanka on Saturday, bowling and batting the islanders into submission. India closed out the 6-1 route with a big boundary from Dravid, meeting the Indian’s target of 245.

They now prepare for a test match against Sri Lanka followed by another one day series against South Africa. Former captain Sourav Ganguly claims to be fit and ready to compete in the test match, although the selectors have already decided not to play him in the SA series. Instead they chose to go with the winning combination of players that ousted the Sri Lankan favorites.
