World takes note of India’s gender gap
Many articles regarding India’s gender gap saw publication on the web today, including Abortion blamed for ‘missing’ Indian girls and Indian Women Forever Victims. Of course this comes as no surprise to anyone who has experienced and lived in India, but now the world is taking note. Most notable is a quote from Dr Prabhat Jha, the head of a research time investigating abortion statistics, that ten million females may have been aborted since the 1990s because of their gender.
