Despite a rousing, record-breaking day for Indian batsmen Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag, the test cricket match between India and Pakistan has ended in a tame draw. Pak’s bowlers managed to contain India in the early phases of the match, but, partially due to the pitch conditions and weather, groundsmen on both sides collapsed, leading to a 1000+ run match.

Dravid and Sehwag came precariously close to toppling the 1946 record for most runs by a lead-off partnership (415).
