It appears to be an auspicious season for Bollywood marriages:
Riddhima and Bharat
Riddhima Kapoor, daughter of Bollywood hotshots Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, and sister of Ranbir Kapoor (up and coming) tied the knot with Bharat Sahni, a businessman from Delhi. The extravagent and fashionable celebration consists of two episodes, in bride and groom’s respective stomping grounds: the wedding in Mumbai, and the reception in Delhi. The reception, will be rockin Moroccan, complete with a hooka corner, and a medley of tobacco flavors served.

Shazmeen and Shaad
and yet another business and film entwining marriage:

Shaad Ali Sahgal, son of Delhi-based film-maker Muzaffar and Subhasini Ali, whose blockbuster Bunty Aur Babli sent cash registers ringing last year, is set to tie the knot on January 28 at Lucknow’s Taj Residency. Shaad Ali will get married to his longtime beau Shazmeen, who also hails from Lucknow, in a traditional Lakhnavi ceremony. The grand daughter of the late general Habibullah, Shazmeen is currently based in Mumbai. Her father Ishaq Husain is a senior director in the Tata group.

Not surprisingly their guests will include some big names in politics, film, and business.

Samita and Aashish
Soon after, Aashish Chowdhary and his fiancé Samita Bangargi, are following suit. The pre-wedding ceremonies featured dance perfomances from their conveniently talented family members and friends. Let the festivities begin!
